Private Prescriptons

 

Dr Priyanka Pillay is registered with the General Medical Council Uk (GMC) with an active licence to practice and is on the specialist register in Psychiatry. She is qualified and licenced to initiate and prescribe medication for the treatment of mental disorder.

Good medical practice which is the GMC guidance on prescribing underpins prescribing at Hampshire Psychiatry. As such there would need to be a discussion on whether the it is  safe to issue a prescription ( Good practice in prescribing and managing medicines and devices (gmc-uk.org)

 

Hampshire Psychiatry will only be able to offer a prescription to patients who are currently under the care of the service and have consented to Dr Pillay communicating with their GP and other care providers about their healthcare. 

 

Fees for private prescriptions

Prescriptions are issued via online pharmacy CloudRx who deliver medication directly to you.  Please see the fee schedule for further details on current prescription charges.

Controlled Drugs

Hampshire psychiatry does not issue prescriptions for controlled drugs.

Emergency Prescriptions

Hampshire Psychiatry does not offer emergency prescriptions

If you are receiving regular repeat medication from your NHS GP and have run out you may order an emergency supply via NHS 111 : Emergency prescriptions - NHS 111
